Course Overview
The Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law has been developed to equip learners with advanced legal skills and knowledge in international business law, promoting recognition and professionalism across a broad range of sectors. The aim of this program is to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks governing international trade, commercial agreements, dispute resolution, and other key areas of global business law. This qualification prepares individuals for senior roles in legal and business environments, enabling them to navigate complex international legal landscapes.
The Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law is designed to develop and reward learners with advanced legal skills and knowledge in international business law, fostering recognition and professionalism across a variety of sectors. The aim of this program is to cultivate legal skills, analytical abilities, logical thinking, and in-depth knowledge that can be applied in further academic study, the legal profession, and public service. This qualification provides students with a comprehensive understanding of law within the context of business, equipping them with the abilities needed to tackle complex legal issues in international business.
The aim of the QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law is to develop legal skills, analytical abilities, logical thinking, and advanced knowledge that can be applied in further academic study, the legal profession, and public service. This qualification provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of law within the context of business, equipping them with the abilities needed to address complex legal issues in the international business arena.
The QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law consists of 120 credits, equating to 1200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT). Learners are required to complete all mandatory units (110 credits) and then choose one of two optional units (10 credits).
Payment for the course can be made via:
Candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:
1.Qualifications at Level 6, and/or
2.Work experience in the legal sector, and/or
3.Level 6 qualification in another discipline, with a desire to develop a career in business law.

1.International Trade Law
This module explores the legal framework governing international trade, including international trade agreements, customs regulations, and international dispute resolution mechanisms. Learners will gain an understanding of the legal challenges and opportunities in global trade.
2.Commercial Trust Law
This module covers the principles and practices of commercial trusts, with a focus on their application in business and finance. Learners will explore the creation, administration, and termination of commercial trusts, as well as their role in asset protection, tax planning, and estate planning.
3.Industrial and Intellectual Property Law
This module addresses the legal protection of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyright. Learners will learn how to identify, protect, and enforce intellectual property rights, and understand the implications for businesses.
4.Law of Financial Crimes
This module explores the legal framework for combating financial crime, including money laundering, fraud, and corruption. Learners will gain knowledge of the regulatory landscape, investigative techniques, and the role of law enforcement agencies in preventing and detecting financial crimes.
5.Company Law
This module covers the legal framework for the formation, operation, and dissolution of companies. Learners will study corporate governance, directors’ duties, shareholder rights, and corporate finance.
6.Legal Research and Research Methods (10 credits)
This module equips learners with essential skills for conducting legal research, including the use of legal databases, case law analysis, and statutory interpretation. Learners will develop the ability to identify legal issues, analyze legal arguments, and present legal findings effectively.
1.International Commercial Arbitration (10 credits)
This module explores the principles and practices of international commercial arbitration, including arbitration agreements, procedures, and the enforcement of arbitral awards. Learners will understand the advantages of international arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism.
2.Corporate Governance – Principles and Practices (10 credits)
This module focuses on the principles and practices of corporate governance, including board structure, executive compensation, shareholder rights, and corporate social responsibility. Learners will gain a critical understanding of the role of corporate governance in promoting ethical and sustainable business practices.
The Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in International law has 7 modules and 7 written assignments. On completion of the modules, students will be given access to the assignments. The assignments are approximately 5,000-8,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.

1.Management Control
Learners will explore the concepts and techniques of management control, including financial and non-financial performance measures, budgeting, and cost control. They will learn to design and implement effective control systems to achieve organizational goals.
2.Management of Sales Force
This module focuses on the principles and practices of sales management, including sales force planning, recruitment, training, motivation, and performance evaluation. Learners will develop skills to lead and manage sales teams to achieve sales targets.
3.Strategic Marketing Management
Learners will gain the skills to develop and implement marketing strategies, including market analysis, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and branding. They will also learn about marketing planning, budgeting, and the use of various marketing tools and techniques.
4.Business Law
This module covers the legal framework for business operations, including contract law, corporate law, and employment law. Learners will learn to analyze legal issues, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
5.Research Project including Research Methods
Learners will undertake an independent research project, applying research methods to investigate a specific business problem or opportunity. They will develop research questions, collect and analyze data, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
To enroll in the Level 4 course, you must be at least 18 years old and have completed full secondary education.
To enroll in the Level 5 course, you must have successfully completed the Level 4 qualification or an equivalent qualification.
The Qualifi Level 6 Business and Administrative Management course consists of 5 modules and 5 written assignments. Upon completion of the modules, students will be granted access to the assignments, which are approximately 5,000-8,000 words each.
Students will receive support for both the modules and assignments through the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
Assignments must be completed for the following mandatory units:

2.Management of Sales Force
3.Strategic Marketing Management
4.Business Law
5.Research Project including Research Methods
Upon completing the QUALIFI Level 6 Diploma in Business Administration, learners can progress to:
1.Any QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma, or
2.The first year of postgraduate study, or
3.Directly into employment in a related profession.
